Neuroscience Center: About Us

The Neuroscience Center sees patients for both Adult Neurology and Adult Neurological Surgery. The center is located on the sixth floor of the Center for Advanced Medicine at 4921 Parkview Place at the corner of Parkview Place and Euclid Avenue.

ADULT NEUROLOGY OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Patients are seen for the following: general neurology, epilepsy, headache, stroke, neuro-immunology (Multiple Sclerosis), movement disorders, neuroAIDS, neuromuscle disease, and spinal cord injury are among the areas of special expertise offered at this center.

TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT call (314) 362-7241.

Patients can be self referred or referred by their physicians.

The neurologist evaluating your case will want to review records of examinations, treatments and X-rays you have had. Please bring them with you to your appointment or have them sent to the doctor you will be seeing. It is very important that your doctor sees the X- ray films in addition to reviewing the radiologist's report. Please be sure that both are here by the time of your visit.

Many time the description of what has been happening to you by someone who knows you is very helpful. If at all possible, a friend or relative should accompany you to your visit.

Please bring with you all of the medications that you are currently taking. A list of what has been tried in the past and information about benefit or harm produced should be made out in advance of your visit.
