The department of Pain Management is a leader in the multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain.

With two locations, one at the main campus of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and at the Washington University Pain Management Center in west St. Louis county, we offer hope and a supportive environment for people suffering from debilitating pain.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine provides expert anesthesia during surgery, utilizing the latest pharmaceutical agents to relieve pain while minimizing undesirable side-effects.
